REVIEW: Sigma E55 - Eye Shading Brush

Sigma E55 - Eye Shading Brush ($12)

This month, I became a Sigma affiliate and with that, I was given a small welcome gift to try out: the E55. This is a travel sized brush with a pink ferrule, whereas the full size brush is the classic black.

This is your standard eyeshadow brush. It's great for applying a wash of colour all over the eye area and heading out the door, or just for packing one colour all over the lid (and then using other brushes to create a more complicated eye look).

My favourite way of using this brush so far is by using it to apply Urban Decay Sin eyeshadow all over my lid (with winged eyeliner and mascara added). I don't need a smaller eyeshadow brush like the Real Techniques or Sonia Kashuk Small Eyeshadow Brush, two brushes I would use when I'm using more than two eyeshadows.

If you're looking for a standard eyeshadow brush and you've got $12 (plus shipping) to spend, I do recommend this brush. It applies eyeshadow well, gets cleaned and dries well, and doesn't scratch the eye area at all. You can purchase this brush using my affiliate link here or using the non-affiliate link up above. You can use the code MAR2014, good until the first of April, for 10% off your purchase. (10% off code is SPRING2014 when April hits.)

I have received this product from Sigma for free due to being a new Sigma Affiliate. I am not being paid for this review and every single character I type on this blog post is truthful.
