January Favourites/Hits & Misses - em michelle phan, MAC, Zoya, Benefit, NARS | closed captioned

Honestly, I don't do Hits & Misses videos very often. Out of all the videos I do on YouTube, Favourites/Hits & Misses posts seem to be the least popular of mine, so the urge to do them never really exists. But since I got a bunch of products recently since Christmas has recently passed, I thought I would at least do one for the month of January!

Benefit Rockateur
Zoya Rikki
Wet n Wild Brulee
NARS Deep Throat

  1. Great favourites! I'm so interested in trying Deep Throat! It looks like such a nice colour :)

  2. Great post. Loved your winged liner in it, too!!

    1. Thanks! I used the LORAC that I ended up hating LOL!

  3. Haha, I'm pretty new to contouring as well! I remember the first times I tried, I'd make the fish face and contour literally where it hollowed in because of "contour where the hollows of your cheeks are," lol. I think it's just something that takes practice and playing around with to figure out where your best contouring spots are.

I like Brulee a lot - my sister had one (no idea where it is now) and I wanted to get my own, but I can't seem to find it in stores :/

    1. I honestly do not like doing the fishy face 'cos when you do, your face raises a little bit so when it's relaxed, all the product you just put on ends up being a little bit lower than what you originally planned. It's like with blush and putting it on as your smiling.

    2. Mhm! I ended up with bronzer near my jaw and was wondering what I was doing wrong :P I think the smiling blush technique differs from person to person - definitely not a good look on me, but I know some that look great doing it that way.

  4. I actually really like these kind of videos, I'm glad you made it :)

I'm so glad I found your blog and youtube channel! If you'd like to follow each other, I'd be happy to keep in touch! Just let me know on my blog :)

  5. great post! would you like to follow eachother?
